are you giving equal gifts to both sets of parents? My parents are paying for 99% of our wedding. FILs are paying for the rehearsal dinner. Do you get them all the same thing?

Re: Parents Gifts - Question
We are paying for about 75% of our wedding, my parents are paying for about 25% and FIL's parents are paying for the RD. Each set of parents are getting a parent album and this
and my Dad is also getting this

Re: Parents Gifts - Question
were giving both sets of parents a parents album from photographer, and getting them about equal gifts.... if your going to give more to your parents, then make sure you give enough to his, so it doesnt look like your snubbing them or anything

Re: Parents Gifts - Question
my parents are paying for 90% of the wedding too, fh and i are paying about 9% and fil's are paying 1%.
we are giving something extra to my parents. we'll give the relatively same presents during the rehearsal dinner (cufflinks to the dads and something for the moms). plus his parents haven't even been helping w/ the planning so i am thinking of giving my parents a weekend trip somewhere - not sure yet.
but i wouldn't suggest having your fh's parents see what you're giving your parents- they may be offended.

Re: Parents Gifts - Question
I know I'll be giving something nice to my mom as she just told us that she is giving us the music (keyboardist and DJ). His parents have not offered to do anything including the RD, although it still is over a year away I dont expect them to offer anything either, so they will get a few pics.
