This year my parents will be married 34 years, and DH's parents will be married 50 years.

My parents were married about 20 years before they divorced. My mom is remarried and my dad is living with someone.

DH's parents divorced when he was very young and they have both been remarried for over 15 years.

My parents were never married ( a big shocker back in the day).
My Dad has been married 3 times ( twice to the same woman...my now step mom)

Dh's parents were married 17 years when his Dad passed. His mom never re-married.

My parents were married 23 years (most of them unhappy) when my Dad passed away (15 years ago today!)
My mom is remarried for about 12 years now

Well my parents were never married to each other so they are happily married to other people. they broke up when I was 5 and now I have a half brother that's 20 years youngers than me, how freaky is that.

My parents dated since they were 12 years old ... and separated after 29 years of marriage (that was 11 years ago).

My parents were married for 21 years then my dad passed away. If he were alive today they would have been together for 35 years.

my parents are divorced..but were married 25 years

Mine were married 32 years when they divorced...My mom called me during my senior year spring break in college to tell me that she had a job on Long Island and was leaving my dad to take it (she had been looking for a while, but wanted a job where she could support herself before leaving, and also waited until I was graduating college since she knew my dad would give no money towards it once she left). I really hope she finds someone who will love her and make her happy. Any single dads out there looking for a 60 year old cutie with a great sense of humor?

My parents are 'other.' My dad passed away almost 23 years ago. Before he died, my parents were 'happily married.' If he was still alive, they would have been married 39 years next month.
