Doesn't have to be grand - something reasonable, clean and NON SMOKING room!!!! (That's our biggest concern ) We went to Greece last year and everyone smokes like crazy and we soooooooooooo didn't enjoy that!
Thats true about Greece, that is true about Europe in general that everyone smokes like crazy. I want to to go Paris for my HM too. The closest I got to Paris is when I had to switch planes there, lol. I think smoking is permittted in every hotel but if you dont smoke then it will be a smoke free room

I stayed at the Hilton when I went to Paris. European hotel rooms are a bit small, but the Hilton was pretty roomy and very clean and I didn't smell smoke anywhere inside the hotel.

FH and I just went to Paris in May and stayed at the sofitel fauburg(spelling?) it was such a great hotel!!! The rooms were a nice size, we had daily breakfast included, and it was within walking distance to almost everywhere. I definitely recommend it! I wish I could go back!! You're going to have such a great time!!!! I wanted to move there when we got back home. I'm still trying to convince FH to move there for a year hahaha!

Just asked my best friend who went there in September for their honeymoon.
They stayed at the Hotel Miriffic in the Marais distric. It was very basic. Nothing special. That being said, the exchange is a killer once you get over there, so make you decide what's priority - an extra comfy hotel room or more money for the incredible food & shopping.

Hotel Du Louvre..We just got back home from our paris honeymoon a week ago! You will LOVE IT!!! I have a few pictures in my album!

we are staying 2 nights at the best western adia opera it looks right at the tower, we havnt stayed yet but the reviews were okay :) hope that helps!!
