Well I got a bogus parking ticket last friday! The ticket is for $165 ISNT THAT CRAZY, it says I was in the pedestrian ramp, which I was not! I am totally annoyed I have parked in this same spot a hundred times!!!! and now I want to fight it, I am going to write in and send photos,
Has anyone ever fought a ticket before? any help or advice would be great. I am just so ticked and the OUTRAGEOUS PRICE makes it even worse.

All parking tickets? Are you sure you dont park in bad places? LOL you could fight it but since you have had others they might not reduce it to much.

I have probably had 2 parking tickets before this, I dont think I ususally park in bad spots, try not to at Least but one of the prior was bc they changed a sign by work!! Things happen,

Take pictures and measure your distance from the curb. Double check this to the guidelines found in the parking violations listings. The distance from the curb may be longer then you think so you may have been getting away with it all along.
People are supposed to park 15 feet from a fire hydrant but I don't think I have ever seen anyone do that.

Oh, there's that guy that writes the traffic in the daily news that answers questions - maybe he has a sight that can give you some insight. I don't have today's paper but it might be on the daily news website.

I did get out of a parking ticket once for alternate side of the street parking violation...I took pictures of all the signs (lack thereof really) telling about the alternate side rule as you enter the area...There are laws stating how they need to document these things....I got out of that one...Definitely take pictures of the signs posted, and exactly where the car was (though that is hard to prove after the fact--it may be your word against his which is hard to win )
