I have a wonderful blue front amazon. He says hello when the phone rings (so cute). And yes he says many other words. Anyway, I have been so busy I have been neglecting him. I really feel bad about this. So, I am in search of a new home for Bobby (yes, that's his name). I do not want any money just a really good home. Someone that is going to give him attention and has some knowledge about parrots. He is drawn more to a males then a females (probably because I am his soul caregiver). If you know of anyone that is looking for a parrot and can provide a good home please FM me. Preferably someone that has or used to have a parrot is desirable.

I absolutely love birds, used to have one of my own, who used to ask 'What are you doing?' when I would walk through the front door. My father has two parrots.
I would take him in a heatbeat, except DH is absolutely petrified of birds.
I hope he finds a good home!

say it isn't so! parrots are cool and fun. my little green and blue guy is a blast! liz hates this but i bring him to the table and set a plate for him. i know, i'm nuts but he is a blast!

Unfortunately, it is so! DH told me that if I had still had my bird when we first met, it probably would have been a deal breaker! My father has to put his birds in a different room with the door closed when we come over.

If you IM me a flyer...or email one to me with the parrot's picture, I'll ask my husband to keep a lookout at his practice for a good potential owner.
I won't have him put the flyer up...he'll hold on to it, and when he sees a potential owner, he can show it to them.

my mom is interested in a parrot, but i think she is looking for a different one, the ones on the short end of the life span scale (20 years or so). she hasnt owned a parrot, but her and my dad owned finches before.
still i am not totally sure, i think she wants a free room for it, and that is after i get married.
