omg. i just finished applying online for a marriage license (we still need to show up to complete it) and i'm just... stunned ... when it came to the part where it asks for the Brides information. there was a line there saying 'Yes, I will have a new surname' and 'state new surname'
i was frozen for like, 5 minutes before i entered anything!!!! hahahaha.
this just makes my wedding SOOOOO REAL!!!

yup they are only valid for 60 days, so once you apply you HAVE to get married within the 60 days.
also, you can download the application online but cannot file online. i recommend having it ready before you go.

i just checked the city clerk website & it says applications submitted on-line expire after 21 days. & the actual license is only good for 60 days after a 1 day waiting period.

we have to get our license now because our church requires it and so we could BOOK our date. we'll just have to renew (again) closer to our wedding date.

oo ... thats bizarre tho that the church is basically making you do it twice
yea thats so strange of the church....they just wanted me to have it at the rehearsal. but its a good thing they give active military a longer time to file, i would imagine its more difficult for them to find time.
