So FH and I were talking and decided that maybe we will get a party bus to transport all our OT family who are staying with us, to our RH. The problem is, we live in Brooklyn, and the best way to get to L.I is through the Belt parkway. Are buses like that allowed on the Belt? I'm worried there will be a crazy amount of traffic if it goes through Manhattan. I don't want to chance our family getting to the wedding late!

i don't believe so.. i had a party bus coming from queens to to long island and we had to avoid the belt and take side streets

no theyre not alllowed on the belt i just found this out this week... youd have to take the BQE to the LIE

That's what I was afraid of
I know I overheard a teacher saying that some school buses have a permit to go through the Belt, and I was hoping this applied to other buses as well... I guess not?
