FYI...Michaels put their votive holders on sale from time to time too for 2 for $1 - they have several different styles to choose from.

I'm not sure, but it looked like a clearance sale, so I'm assuming until they are gone. I saw them in Party City in Staten Island....

Re: Party City has glass votive holders for 3 for 59 cents!!!

I just wanted to thank you for the post....I am doing votive placecards...and actually went to Party City after reading (actually three different stores) and purchased all 130 votive holders for about $26. It was such a great deal.....they do have a little curve in them so i will need to adjust the paper so it sits right...but you can't go wrong with that price. Thanks So Much!

Oh good I'm so glad!!

If I had the patience to do these I'd get them myself..but I swear I think I'd lose my mind if I tried!

Kristen
How are you making the placecard holder part? I wanted to do votive placecard holders too and was quoted $2.30 each

Please let me know. Thanks.

Re: Party City has glass votive holders for 3 for 59 cents!!!

I went to Woodbury (my sister went..to scope out but they did not have enough), Hicksville and Carle Place. At that point i called New Hyde Park and they did have a lot but I sort of cleared them out (maybe they have more in the back). I actually got the tea lights in Kohls...b/c i was looking for ones in plastic rather then tin/metal. I already have the vellum paper and all I want to get is some thin ribbon. Now the hard part will be left....making them

Kristen,
where did you buy your vellum?

Re: Party City has glass votive holders for 3 for 59 cents!!!

I actually found it at Staples...it is ink-jet translucent vellum. It was $10 for 50 sheets. I had to go to 2 staples for it b/c i am using it for my programs also. You can put two or three names w/table number on one sheet.
