Party Dilemma

Party Dilemma

I just found out my FH's bachelor party is the week after when I was going to have a small cocktail party for his 30th bday. Some of the guys are coming from out of town (ok, only 3) but should I change the bday party so that they're not coming up 2 weekends in a row? I haven't sent invites yet.

Also, since its a cocktail party i was inviting his friends and only his siblings w/o kids - do you think that's rude?

TIA!

Do you know what they are planning for his bachelor party? And how many people are going to it? Maybe you could do it on the same weekend.

I would invite all his siblings, even those with kids, just be clear with them that it is a cocktail party, therefor adults only.

Its a weekend thing to Foxwoods with about 10 -15 guys. I definitely wouldn't be able to do it the same weekend.

I agree. I think if you don't invite all the siblings there might be some hard feelings.

If they do'nt have the full weekend planned for the bachelor party already, it would be nice to save the groomsmen a trip.

Beware though with a b-day and bachelor party the same weekend, your FH might be a puddle for a few days (that's what happened to mine the weekend of his 30th b-day party).
