Hi all- I need some help finding a location for an engagement party. We were engaged in September and had no time to have a big outdoor backyard party before the weather changed. We were thinking of renting a community room somewhere or VFW hall- something that will allow us to bring out own catered food/alcohol/decorations. I have also heard that there is a room that is available for party rentals on Lake Ronkonkoma Beach, but don't have any details about it. We live in the Smithtown area so wouldn't want the party to be too far east or west. Does anyone know of any of these types of locations?

I threw FH a surprise 30th at the American Legion Hall in RVC and it was awesome! I'm not sure if that's too far for you, but just a suggestion.

My sister had my niece's first birthday at Ronkonkoma Pavilion. It's a bit run down on the outside but is fine for an engagement party on the inside! Try your local hibernian halls I had mine in the East Islip one!

the K of C in ENpt is ok. we had a party for my mom there. it's painted pink LOL but as a nice 'bar area' and a seating area. i think we had 60 people. we had a line dancing instructor and got catering by smokey bones. it was about $2100 total

One of my bridesmaids had her FIs 30th bday at the hall on lk ronk. I can try and find out the info from her if you want...

Check out the Polish Hall in Port Jeff, it's right off of 347 and very nice inside.

I had my engagement party at the Ronkonkoma Pavillion. It was great for an engagement party and we had such beautiful weather that lake Ronkonkoma looked pretty.
