so where do I take a picture. and do I just bring it to the post office to get my passport?

we took our pictures at the photo place in the mall, but ive also seen them taking pictures at our post office. then we just printed out the applications online, filled them out and took them to the post office.

You can take pictures at almost any 1 hour photo spot - they usually are around $7 for 2 photos - Duane Reade takes passport pictures too.

I got my passport done 3 months ago. All you have do is go to CVS take picture there. Then bring the picture to the post office and fill out the form for the passport. I dont remember how much it was do it.

You also have to bring an original copy of your birth certificate which they will take and return to you...I was a little afraid to give up an original document like that but it came back fine...
