Anyone gone to renew or apply for a new passort lately? Does anyone know how long they are taking to arrive these days with all the new restrictions?

Re: Passport
They are taking a bit longer then usual now that people have to have them to travel anywhere outside of the US - there is more demand. However I had a friend apply and get her passport in 10 days (no expediating) and I had another friend who waiting two months so you never know!

Re: Passport
If you don't pay for the rush, they say it's taking between 8 and 10 weeks. If you pay for the rush, it should be about 2 weeks.
You can still get it in one day if you have tickets bought and call for an appointment.

Re: Passport
I went a few weeks ago. I paid to have it expedited, which should have taken about 4 weeks. I was worried with everyone saying theirs took so long to be returned. Well, it came in under a week! So not everyone's having problems with it taking so long.
I'd go ASAP, though, and if you need it anytime in the next few months, pay to have it expedited.
