Passport

Ladies,
Can someone tell me where I can go in Queens or LI (Nassau County) to hand in the application for my passport?

the great neck post office but the 'passport section' is only open during the week...it's closed on sat.

You can get the application on www.usps.com and you would need to go the post office with your application, drivers license, birth certificate and 2 passport photos (Genovese will do for about $8.00). The cost is $85.00 for the passport.

my FH just did this last week...it's my understanding that not all post offices deal with passport applications...I know the great neck one does, so just call which ever post office you decide to go to and make sure they do.

I did mine at the postoffice on the botton floor of Rosevelt Field Mall.

I know that the post office in Plainview does it but I am not sure if they do it on the weekends.

I recently did it for my FH through the mail. I printed the application from the internet and mailed it in. It arrived just when they said, I think about 6 weeks. check this website for more info.

i don't know if its too late but roosevelt field has a post office downstairs (on the lower level but the macy's/disneystore stairway!) - they are open sat (10-6) and sun (1-5) (maybe later at night too but not sure..) - we went last sat morning and there was no-one there...took literally three minutes for both of us to do it!
