Unfortunately, I have waited until the last minute to think about getting my passport- and I leave for my honeymoon on the 27th! Has anyone been to the passport center in the city? Supposedly you can go there to get your passport if you are travelling within two weeks. Any info will help!!!

Just a bit of advice - you don't necessarily have to pay the fee to expedite it. My fiance went to the Kings Park post office to get his, and they told him it would take six weeks, but he got it in less than two weeks.

I know that there are places that do quick passports. Why dont you try googling it?
My passport expired last year, and FH and I went on a last minute trip to Mexico this past spring, I had to pay extra, but I was able to send my passport away to be renewed and received it within the week.

where are you going? overseas?, cruise...depending on where you going, you don't need it (just other forms of id)

You basically have 2 options: Pay for expedited service and get it within 2 weeks or go to the passport office and get it. My suggestion would be to just pay for the expedited service and you'll get it in 2 weeks. If you go to the passport office, you need to have an appointment which probably means taking a day off from work.

if you go to the passport office with your tickets in hand then i believe that you can get it renewed same day.
