Around there, no more.
If you want to do express, you may pay more.

Re: passport info

If you lose one you have to go through one of the 'passport acceptance facilities'... not every post office is one, there is a list on the gov't website of all the nearest locations. Otherwise if you're not replacing a lost one I think you can mail it in.

We are going through this now, FH lost his passport and we're going to St. Lucia in 6 weeks, he is going to have to expedite too so it's going to cost almost $200.

UGH! You know FH did this to me, too, Dana. But for a new passport, you need to go to an acceptance facility. You can only mail in for a replacement before it expires or for a name change. I think it came out to $95 and then FH had to pay like an extra $65 to expedite it.

Yep and you are 'encouraged' to pay for overnight shipping on both ends so that's like $40 all said and done. Is this a Queens boy thing or something, they are incapable of getting their passports in a timely fashion? Meanwhile I printed out ALL the directions and forms, filled them out for him, clipped his birth certificate to it and told him what to do in DECEMBER... now we leave June 20th and laziness is costing us over $100. And the best part is he did this the last time we went away, in May 2007 for our cruise, right when they were about to change the rules about passports so he got lucky and was able to use his license because his passport didn't come til we were on the cruise.
This passport mess is written about all over our pre-cana booklet about the last time I felt angry at him

I just did this - mine had expired and I was able to do it through the mail (you have to send back the expired one) and it's $75.
