Re: passport question
it takes 8-10 weeks unless you expidite it, but they mail your birth certificate too, so if you need to apply for your marrage liscence make sure you leave enough time for it to come back too.

Re: passport question
you should just get it over with now to be honest - i mean you are going to need it anyway and it doesnt expire for ten years ( i think) so i would just get it out of the way

Re: passport question
passport DEFINITELY apply for now... it's best to get it over with, and it lasts for years...
the marriage license you can only get within 60 days of the wedding.... go to any town hall in NY

60 days before the wedding
you need your original birth certificate with the raised seal, and your driver's license. (or passport)
i would do the passport right NOW if i were you, to get it over with, because you must send your original birth certificate with your passport application....they mail it back to you when you get your passport

Re: passport question
I would just apply for the passport now, this way it's one less thing you have to worry about. You'll have it in plenty of time for your honeymoon.

Yeah I would go get it now. This way you have one less thing to worry about and your not stressing last min if it's late coming back to you.

Re: passport question
And the marriage lic is good for 60 days. So I would go like 1 month before or maybe a little earlier.
