Passports..

Has anyone gotten one??
If so what are you paying??? We went today and its $97 plus $15 for your picture...

Hmmm. I have had mine for about 8 years, so I don't remember, but I don't think it cost that much! We are going to get one for my FH next week so I guess we will find out!!!

Whoa! I guess it's gone up. I think it was $80 (plus pictures) when I got mine. But that was years ago.

Just got mine in the mail...we went ot the big post office on Stweart Avenue in Garden City. they took the pics there and everything. I'm almost positive it costs the same no matter where you go. The passports (mine and fh's) came in less than 6 weeks (maybe 41/2 or so). HTH!

That price sounds about right. I would've said ours was around $100. We just got it in January.

If you want to save a few bucks have your passport picture taken at CVS.

Yes, this is true, however we paid $8 for photos at CVS. Also if you want them to rush the past port, I think the total is $140.

Yes, the prices are the same unless you have to get a copy of your birth certificate ordered, or if you put a rush on it. I got them early enough where no rush was needed.

I had a bad experiences with CVS. My fiance and I took the pictures ourselves and first I took our memory card to a CVS which only had one photo machine working. After waiting behind 2 people for 20 minutes, I left.

Then we ordered prints through CVS's online service. They said they would be at the Plainview store in two working days but they weren't. Spoke to customer service, they never went out but would put a 'rush' on it and get it there in another 2 days. Never arrived.

The last time I called them, I was told they never went out again, they don't know why. I told them what they could do with the photos (use your imagination! ). FH took the memory card somewhere else and got them printed.
