Mine was just a renewal, I had one that expired. It took 6 weeks.

Mine took about 8 weeks when it expired last. But I heard it can take longer when its new.

ahhhhhh u totally just reminded me that I have to finish filling out the paperwork. I know we still have awhile but I want to do it before I forget again.

My renewal took about 5 weeks.

btw, if you renew or get a new passport with your maiden name, you can have your name changed to your married name NO CHARGE if it's w/in one year of the issue date!

My brand new passport came within like 3 weeks. Way faster then what they said it would take (like 3 months I think).

it depends what time of year you apply for it. sept/oct u get it sooner than uwould if u were to apply for it in april/ may cuz most ppl go away in the summer months.
