I freaked out when the whole government lockdown scare thing happened - so I went last month - it only took 4-5 weeks!

FH checked the mail box everyday - I've never gotten my mail so promptly!!!!!!!! I just wonder when we're getting our birth certificates back!!! I would have thought they would have come together!

It has something to do with identity theft. We got ours back about three days later! And it only took 3weeks for us

good to know! FH is concerned b/c he has the only copy....my dad in the meantime has everything locked up in safety deposit box triple copied....FH keeps his in his wallet - it's torn on the edges - lucky they took it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent my application in like the DAY before the gov't shutdown scare, got it back about 4 weeks later I think. My old passport came back separately about a week later.
