passports...needed?

we went to cozumel in may

We need a license and a birth certificate

a passport would of been taken also but not neccessary as long as you had the above

if u dont wanna take your original birth certificate u need an offical copy..it is like 40 bucks

As of this year you don't need a passport. Starting 1/1/06 you will need a passport to go to the Carrribbean. If you are going this year, all you need is a birth certificate and ID

There was another thread about this, please call your post office- there are conflicting reports about this- we just went to aruba and were told you MUST have a passport to come back into the US- this month my mother, grandmother and I are going to the bahamas and my mom called the post office and were told the same thing so they had to rush for a passport.

Oh I forgot to add that some carribean destinations like Aruba- have different restrictions- there were signs at immigration- you MUST have a passport- have your travel agent check with the island.
