Past and Future Sandals Honeymoon Thread

I was thinking we can start a Past and Future Sandals Honeymoon Thread. I know when I was considering a honeymoon spot I found it hard to find information on all the Sandals resorts. I figured brides can read/write reviews or get an idea of all the different types of sandals resorts that are available. So if you have been to sandals or going to a sandals resort please post your reviews/comments.


We are going to the Sandals Ocho Rios resort in March 2006. We are staying in the Romeo and Juliet suite. We have to fly into Montego Bay airport and take a bus ride to the Ocho Rios resort ( which can be up to 2 hours ) or we are considering taking 15 minute on a very small plane to the Ocho Rios airport.

Hi! I'm a past Sandals Ocho Rios Honeymooner! We went it March '03. We took the bus to the resort and the plane on the way back. I think the bus ride was about an hour, we stopped half way to the resort to take a break, get food, buy stuff and use bathroom.

We would of taken the plane ride to the resort but it was over two hours to wait at the airport before the flight.

We stayed at Ocho Rios and had a great time. We took a day trip to Sandals Dunn River to check it out and waterski! Plus we went back on another night to eat.

Its cool that you can check out and hang out it the other Sandals resorts! The have a shuttle bus!
