past bride who now needs help planning a 60th bday
hi ladies.... i am having trouble being creative with my dad's 60th and knew all of you would have great ideas.
we are having my dads 60th at sammys romanian (in nyc) its a ton of fun and he has never been. It will be about 30 people.
i need to think of some stuff to buy for people to wear while we are there for fun, plus a favor for everyone at their chair. we dont really have a theme and he is not into any one thing that i can really think of. i was thinking of wine (with a cute saying... like you get better with age) but i think after the labels and buying the wine it might be too expensive. I am looking only to spend maybe $3 per person, not much more.
lastly- i am thinking of doing 1 centerpiece (bc we only are having 1 long table) of 1952 nastolgic candy. i saw one u can buy for over $35 but i am thinking i can DIY for much cheaper. any ideas on where to buy unique old-school candy?
