Past Brides...

... that went to a park or the OWG to take pictures, how much time did you have in between your Ceremony and Cocktail Hour??

My ceremony starts at 2:30, OWG is about 15 mins away and I booked the 4:30 slot. BUT my hall is about 45 mins away which means if we leave the OWG at 6 we will get to the hall by 6:45-7 hitting no traffic! CT hour starts at 7:30 do you think we will have enough time to take pictures at the hall PLUS pictures w/ the family?? Or do you think I should have my ceremony start at 2??

We went to a park (the Garden City Gazebo) and took pics for about an hour. The ceremony started at 3pm, we were out there by 4pm, got to the GCG by 5:15pm, left around 6:15pm and got to the hall by 6:30pm...perfect timing for some pics and then the CH was at 7pm. And I was rushed and missed some shots...so it's always better to have more time.

If the distance between park and CH is 1 hour by car, it will be 1 1/2 to 2 by limo and traffic. Limos are SLOW.

If you can move up the ceremony, I would...then move up the pics. Hope that helps.
