Past brides - Navy BM dresses?

My BM dresses are navy with a bright pink sash. I <3 them.

HOWEVER I am having major issues when picking a tux. FH wants a black vest with bright pink tie. I wanted a navy vest and navy and pink striped tie but I was outvoted. My second choice would be navy vest and navy tie but I'm afraid it'll be too dark.

Any past brides have pics of their groomsmen and what they did when you had navy BM dresses? Driving me CRAZY!

FH and I are planning to use navy. We picked out tuxes but no pics sorry.... Gm will have a dark charcoal will a slight square pattern vest with a navy tie. Fh will have the same square pattern vest in white with a white tie.... .FH boutinere with be a white calla lilly the Gm will have pink calla lillies or roses. HTH

Do you have any pics of your BM dresses. I knew I wanted to do blue and just today I saw something with pink and thought it woud be interesting to incorporate that color too. I would love to see what it looks like.

Well... yes and no.

I only have one pic of one of my BMs wearing the dress, but she's the MOH so her sash is white.


Here's the dress with the ribbon but neither of these look like the actual color!


This is much lighter than what it actually looks like.

I LOVE that and originally that’s what I wanted with navy suits… but FH thinks suits aren’t dressy enough. And I actually bought a tie like that, but it didn’t totally match the vest color.
