Past Brides on tipping

I need advice on tipping

DJ
Photographer ( i heard I should wait until I get the pictures afterwards)
DOC
Maitr'd ( am not giving $4-5 per person)
Bridal attendant

DJ- $50 each for DJ/MC
Photographer- $100 each, $50 for assistant (Don't wait until you get your photos- tip them that night.)
DOC- Don't know, didn't have one.
Maitre'd- We gave $5 per person. He earned it.
Bridal Attendant- We gave $100 to one b/c she was excellent and $50 to the other guy b/c we NEVER saw him.

DJ: We have a DJ and MC and the plan is to tip $100 each.

Photographer: $100 for each main photog and then either $50-$75 for the assistant (probably $50 though)

DOC: my DOC is actually a friend of mine who is a wedding planner and is not charging me so bought her a really nice gift. Not sure how much you would tip normally.

MD: as far as our hall is concerned, we were told that the $4-$7pp suggested tip gets split amongst the MD, the wait staff and the kitchen staff. They told us we can receive a breakdown of exactly how this is split up amongst them. We are planning on doing $7pp. If we feel the MD deserves a little extra (and trust me, our MD has done so much for us already) we plan to throw him a little extra.

Bridal attendant: $100-$150 depending on how the evening goes.

I have not figured our the tips yet. Dont get me wrong I will tip. However, if the venur is already charging 20% gratuity why would I give them an extra $5.00 pp???????

I'm confused so if someone can clear that, I would appreciate it.

I didnt have a DJ so i cant help you there

Photo I gave $100

DOC I gave $100 plus we bought her a nice gift. She became a friend during the process.

MD- I think we gave $3 a head, my dad ended up giving more at the end of the night.

BA- We did $100 in her envelope and then ended up giving more at the end.
