I'm very angry about this, but the fact remains that my invite list is at 296 (for reasons I have no control over). My question is what percentage of invite replies were 'no'? I just called my hall, and was told to expect only 10%-15% to decline. I'm REALLY hoping for no more than 225 people (absolute max) to show up at my wedding. Do you think this is possible, or should I insist that my parents cut back the list?
I think it depends on how many are OOT. We have a lot of those, and what I did for piece of mind was make an excel spreadsheet that broke it down. I listed OOT and No-shows. If you are really worried, have your parents make an A and B list. I'm in the same boat as you, and I'm being told not to freak out, so I'm passing that on to you!HTH!
I think you will be fine. You will be surprised who says no. I had a 30% decline rate.
I had only about 15 people decline, but most were family who lived in Nassau, so I think it all depends.
