We are doing all photos before hand.

How did your dress and hair hold up during pics?

your hair probably won't move. Your makeup will be fine. Try not to squint too much. I look squinty in some of my pictures, The sun was blaring that day.

I did not bustle my dress for photos and it did get dirty. My bridal attendant was scrubbing it before I walked down the aisle. She couldn't get it out so I had a big dirt mark on my gown.

my hair and make up held up just fine. My dress got FILTHY but thats also bc of where we went to take pics. First we went to gantry park and they told me to leave my dress unbustled so i was dragging it around alot. Then we went to 5 pointz, i had to climb this wall to get on this top part to take pics, i even sat down on the floor in my dress, up against a truck so yeah it got filthy lol. If you go elsewhere it might not get that bad.

Bring a tide pen with you and white chalk...try the white chalk first.

ETA: i took all my pics after ceremony but just explaining about how hair/make up and dress held up during picture taking

We did all pics before hand as well,, we went to the brooklyn promenades before hand.. My hair and make up held up just perfectly and it was pretty windy over there because we were right by the ocean... Like some said prior the only thing was my dress was filthy.. But its expected its a longggg dress how is it not going to get dirty,, When I got to CHCC the bridal attendant cleaned where it was visible.. So dont worry about it,, I do suggest taking pics before hand.

my hair and make up were fine.. i didnt touch that up until before the ceremony(nothing major)

my dress held up the whole time.. i tried not to drag it in the sand the whole time.. i held it by the little hook that was sewn into it the inside of the bottom of my dress or nicely placed the train on my arm.. your BMs can help you carry the back of your dress when your walking too..
I sat in the sand, climbed the lifeguard stand, sat on cement in the park and was just careful..

hth!
