FH and I have to pick our menu soon! This is what we have come up with....Please let me know what your experiences were with the food at CLM, we did a tasting SO long ago that we dont really remember what the food tasted like.

CHAFING DISHES
Coq Au Vin
Fried Plaintains
Chicken Marsala
Eggplant Parmagiana
Sausage with Peppers and Onions
Fried Calimari
Boiled Pierogies
Beef and Broccoli Teriyaki

DO you think these choices are okay, enough variety?? some of the other things we were considering were....Shrimp scampi, stuffed peppers, chicken teriyaki, there were SOOO many other choices, too many to list. and of course there will be the usual stations like cheese and fruit, and antipasto, etc + passed hor Doeurves

CARVING STATIONS
Roasted Prime Rib Au Jus
Oven Roasted Vermont Turkey Breast with Jellied Cranberry Sauce

APPETIZER
Pinwheels of homemade Fresh Mozzarella, Prosciutto, and Basil layered with Tomato and Grilled Eggplant drizzled with Basalmic Viniagarette

PASTA COURSE
Penne A La Vodka (was it good?? i heard somewhere that it wasnt so i am wondering if i should change it)

ENTREE's
Grilled Sirloin Steak (marinated in garlic, oil, oregano, and spices grilled to order) (FH didnt like the chateaubriand so we picked this instead)

Chicken Cordon Bleu (I liked this at the tasting)

Chilean Sea Bass Oreganata (broiled in White wine, garlic, butter, and oil, topped with seasoned bread crumbs)

Chicken Francaise

Do you think this is all okay??? is it alright to have 2 chicken choices?? There will be a vegetarian option available but not on the menu. we will discuss that when we hand in our menu

Hi Heather!

Don't get too locked into your choices just yet...when you meet with Lou or Nick, they'll help you make your decision and will give you great pointers. We went in thinking we knew what we wanted but their advice really helped us! They give their recommendations and try to give your menu a good variety.

The Penne a la vodka was great...everything was great! I have to say I didn't eat much at cocktail hour though which is typical for the bride!

I think our entrees were, Chicken Francaise, Chateau Briand, Sea Bass, and the Veal Chop. All of it was amazing!!!

Good luck!!

We picked out our menu and than went over it with Nick. He helps you out alot! don't stress too much! You'll end up changing it. Don't stress!
We had the turkey and roast for our carving stations. For our chafing dishes we did eggplant rollatini, sausage and peppers, kielbasa and saurkarut (mom's family is Polish), chicken teriyaki, pepper steak, rice pilaf, fried calamari and shrimp scampi. For dinner we did chicken francaise, cahteaubriand, pork shops (Nick talked us into it.. we orginally wanted chicken cordon bleu but he said it would be too much poultry with the carver and 2 chicken selections) and we also had filer of sole for dinner. Hope this helps!!
