Past Duet Brides

Do you think its necessary to give them a must take photo list? I have my final meeting with them tomorrow night and i only printed out 3-4 pictures i really like that i want re-created. The rest i was going to leave up to them.
is that a bad idea?

It's totally up to you. They have a must take list on their website that you need to fill out. I had very specific requests (relating to family formals - I have two dads and need to take extra pics, for example) and I also really wanted a number of certain types of pictures so I made my own must take list and also printed out the pictures that I would like to recreate in some way.

I was nervous about giving them the list but Jay is my photographer and he was so great about it - he was like, this list is nothing, don't worry, I'll take a few hundred times MORE than what you have given me here and I want to get the pics that YOU guys want, so no worries.

I trust him and his team because I've seen what a great job they do, but I also know that I personally would be very disappointed if I didn't get certain pictures - and if I don't TELL them what pics those are, then there's no way they'd know they were important to me.

So in other words, go with YOUR gut. If you know that only those three or so pics are what you reallllllly really want and there's nothing else that you feel he MUST take, then you're good!

I had Woo and he did an amazing job! I liked what they created themselves without having to ask them to recreate other pics. They're professionals so they'll know what to do. Here's some examples of the pics Woo took that I never even told him to do and I LOVE them

Thanks... I really was impressed w/ a lot of the pics they took. Plus, you'll get over 2000 pics. It's insane!! We had 800 proofs they printed out and edited using black and white and you'll also get DVD's of all their photos. They don't stop snapping away and they came up w/ great ideas. They had my husband and the groomsmen jump up and the pic looked so cool. Very creative! If you saw their albums you'll see how creative they are. You'll be so happy
