Past & Future Aruba HMer's

FH & I were offered a relatives timeshare in Aruba for our HM...Considering it is not all inclusive, we were trying to figure out what the cost would be for meals for 7 days???

Any past brides, what did you spend on average for the 7 days not including hotel & air??

TIA

I didn't honeymoon there, but DH and I just spent 6 nights there this Easter.
Breakfast was cheap since DH & I would have dunkin donuts (walking distance of hotel). Lunch -usually ate on the beach and that averaged about $35 (burgers/drinks)
Dinner - for two with appetizer, meal, some drinks, tips, etc was about $100-$125 for two

There are also Pizza huts, dominoes, McDonalds, etc if you want to save a little $

Hope that helps.

Most timeshares come with a kitchenette and fridge. I was warned by a few coworkers that its very expensive in Aruba so I figured I'd save a ton of money by making breakfast and a couple of lunches. Its something to consider

Aruba's restaurants are VERY good, but a little pricey.

if it's a time share, you can stock up on breakfast foods and snacks, which will help cut some cost.

We are using my parents timeshare and are getting the all inclusive package (mainly for drinks) and it is 75 per day per person. We figure we will get it for all the days (eat breakfast at the resort, and we can use it for the other 2 resorts as well) and then go off on our own a few nights for dinner.

I am going to Aruba . I have heard that the food is pricey....so we opted to do the Aruba Grand all inclusive.

Good Luck. I am so excited!
