I am getting married March 15th. I am hoping for weather like this past march, sunny and in the 70's!!
Same fears here - Last March on 'my date' it was around 60-65 but rainy. This past March was beautiful!
I'm getting married February so I have the same concern - But unless theres an absolute blizzard that day I think well be fine. (I hope it snows a little a few days before though for pictures!!) My BM told me the only time they were not able to have a wedding was in September for Hurricane Irene. And, also my venue said if there was a blizzard we can reschedule for a date that works best for us. You can't predict the weather anything can happen at any time. My friends got married 3 weeks ago and they choose a place specifically for the outside and it poured the entire time!!!!!!!!!! I felt so bad, but they made the best of it.
We were married March 25, and had a pretty good day. The temperature was quite mild. The day was a bit overcast with very slight showers, but the sun came out in the afternoon. We booked near the end of March to try and avoid snow. Honestly, you never know with the weather, so I say just pick what works for you and hope for the best!
Check out the Farmers Almanac or go online and you can see the average climate. That's what I did. I went back the past ten years and looked at my date. (Yes a lil crazy). I also checked out when daylight savings was and booked the week after for additional daylight.
