PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE LEONARD'S BRIDES

Ok, FH and I are going this weekend to leave deposit and sign contract. What should we make sure id on there. We were quoted $73/pp for Friday July 21, 2006. Regular CH plus Cocktail Shrimp upgrade, 4 choice dinner menu and added Parisian dessert trays for each table. Maurizio will not charge for chair covers b/c we saw the room with them. I am not cheap, but what to get the best deal for my dollar. The $73 is okay with us, but FH would like it a little lower. How can we play with that? TIA.

We are bad with negotiations... didn't even negotiate the free chair covers... But just wanted to say Congrats!!!!

All I can say is negotiate, negotiate, negotiate! There is never any harm in asking for more. I think $73pp sounds about right for a July wedding, however, I would say definitely make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing. Also, if you can, ask them to throw in any perks (ie, you'll sign right then if they give you an ice sculpture, or an upgrade of the cake @ no extra cost).

Leonard's menu is sooooooo fulfilling, that I didn't even add many extras to the dinner. We did, however, want the Vienesse Hour, and we had them throw in some extras if we took that.

I had NO problem getting him to throw in the Ice Sculpture and one extra bartender, but I didn't want the chair covers. I also had the cake, but I ended up upgrading that.

See if he can toss in bottles of wine per table. We added on one red and one white per table. The price was very minimal, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get that tossed in.

I also had one extra hour at the end. Edited to add: carving blocks and pasta chefs. They were also included in my price...
