2 Questions about seating....

1) I know they have 2 different sized tables there (ones that fit 12 people tops and ones that fit 10 tops).

For those girls who filled the tables to max capacity - did you feel that your guests looked cramped or do you think they still had enough room?

I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to make the 12 tables 10 max and the 10 tables 8 max to give them more room.

2) As far as the sweetheart table, did anyone have their table in that corner by the dancefloor? If so, did you have the 2 other tables set up right next to you or it was just your table and the cake table?

While I'm not past yet... I just got the seating chart to work on.. regardless of how you set it up, just an fyi, there are about 5 tables that are 'must be 10 and under' - no option otherwise... and they are the ones closest to the bar and then closest to the kitchen door.

I'm trying to work my tables to have less than recommended to give my guests more room - but I will have 2 tables of 12... I saw them set that way and it still looked pretty roomy.

I am also doing the sweetheart table in the corner - with no other tables around us but the cake. I feel like it makes the dance floor a bit bigger to not have those tables.

it depends on where the tables are. the ones near the kitchen and the ones by the bar area are only tables of 10, all others can be up to 10, i think i had a few tables up to 12, dont remember tho. have to look when i get home.

but as far as them being crammed they werent.

i also had my table and the bridal party table on the dance floor to the right of the room when u walk in. i think that works out best bc you can everyone and everything and really everyone can see you. also i had 165 people and if i had my table in the middle the people would be even more crammed into that corner. as it was i had 2 tables back there, and i felt bad bc they were back there, but thank godi put the 2 party tables together, they had their own party back there!

Yeah we are definitely leaning towards putting our table in the dancefloor corner. And I think I like the idea better of it just being us there with the cake table next to us. If it turns out that we do need to put 2 other tables by us, then we will seat the BP there.
