I orignally had aqua as my color but my wedding coordinator said that it wouldnt look that great in the hall since its like a forest green and maroon...colors like that
so I stuck on what color to do
I want something bright so I stand out in my dress, but I do not wanna do pink or purple ...
Maybe red???

You could also do a nice gold color - that'd look wonderful contrasting with the white!

Re: Past September Brides ...color help
pick any of the 'fall' hues Pink, purple or blue would clash with the colors of your hall. Gold, taupe, brown, sage if you want to go lighter, rust, burgundy, deep berry, oranges, even yellow.
We are doing ivory for the linens, and then using the rust, burgundy, orange and red in the floral arrangements, highlighted with a little white and greeen. My MOH dress is mocha, my dress is light gold.
One suggestion - go to Home Depot or Loews and get paint swatch cards of colors that you like. This way you can see how they go together.

I used Claret - a shade of red that wasn't deep or bright, but right in btw. Check my pict in my community album.

Oooh Kim I'm a bad person to ask this question cause I'm sure you know how I feel about Aqua September is still on the cusp of summer and I think you should still go with it.

HotAir, can you let me know where you found those orange bridesmaid dress pictures? My wedding is Sept. 2008 and they are exactly what I had in mind.

Re: Past September Brides ...color help
I used an avocado green. It looked great in the pictures (and on the girls) and it was very different.
I am getting married on Sept. 28th and am using the color copper for my bridesmaid's and cinnamon for my MOH.
