Where did you go on your honeymoon? We want to go to st. lucia but are concerned because it is hurricane season. Did anyone go to the caribbean in september?
I got married on September 2nd and we waited to go on the honeymoon until January (we actually went over New Years) and we went to the Caribbean on a cruise. There were many reasons why we waited but one of them was the whole hurricane season every where thing. I heard Aruba is usually ok then though.
We went to Mexico in Sept and it was beautiful. We got trip insurance in case we needed to change anything due to a hurricane hitting. As long as you get the insurance you should be fine. Also some resorts have a hurricane policy. If a hurricane hits while you are there they give you a free trip!!
Aruba is always a safe bet because it's outside the hurricane belt. One of my BMs went there on her honeymoon last year (her wedding date was 9/23) and the weather was GORGEOUS. Also, her family goes every year (they have a time share there) in October and they never have problems.
