Past Tahiti Honeymooners...

what type of clothes did you bring? do you need any ultra-dressy stuff? any info would be great!

You'll mostly be wearing shorts or your bathing suit. Bring some linen pants or the equivalent for cooler nights. Everything was very casual. Bring some summery nice clothes (dresses/skirts) for dinners. But nothing too formal is needed.

You should bring just casual summer clothing for daytime-bathing suits, shorts, t shirts. For night, just bring some summer - cotton, rayon dresses, nothing to high maintenance- with a light sweater or jacket- it cools down at night. For your husband, he doesn't need to bring a blazer or jacket-he could just go with casual khaki's or cotton dress shorts and button up shirts. It doesn't get very fancy or restrictive there at the restaurants.

oh yea i definitely second the light jacket. I didn't bring one and that was my biggest packing regret.

Exactly!!! It was so warm and so gorgeous - i spent most of my time in my bikini - dinner was a cute skirt and camisole most of the time
