Did anyone display wedding pictures of their family at the wedding? If so, who did you include, what size picture frames and did you write anything next to it?

We did. We hung photos of our aunts/uncles, parents, and grandparents weddings. Our frames were various sizes so it wasn't so matchy-matchy. We didn't include any notes, but hung them on our escort card board. Here's a photo:

I really wanted to put up pics of past family memebers weddings but my parents are divorced so i dont really want to put there wedding pic up and then if i have FH parents and grandparents i dont want to upset my mom or dad. Is it weird i am thinkng this way?

I just did an eclectic mix.....no specific size or frame. I obtained all the wedding pics from our guests and family and displayed it. It was a nice touch.

My parents are both divorced, but are remarried. DH's parents are divorced. We asked them if they would mind if we put out wedding pictures. They said it was fine, but DH didn't want to put theirs out and everyone was ok with it.
We did all different frames, but the wedding pics were 8x10.
We had:
My maternal grandparents My paternal grandmother and step grandfather My stepdad's parents (I call them my grandparents) DH's maternal grandparents DH's paternal grandparents My mom and stepdad My dad and stepmom
And then we also put a couple pics out of grandparents as they got older.
ETA: We put little picture frames by the pictures with names in them so people would know who the pictures were of.

This is a great idea! Even though my parents are divorced, one is re married and I think it would be a great way to honor grandparents also who often get lost in the hustle and bustle of weddings.
