I have some questions:

Whats the hospitality like when guest first arrive?
Is there food and drink in your bridal suite?
Do they provide bathroom baskets?
Did you get to taste the cake before you picked it?
Did you run into another bride on your big day?
Did they pack up food for you and your FH , like leftover from cocktail hour, extra cake, etc.?
If your ceremony was not outside, did you still get enough photo usage of the gardens?
Do they provide any decorations for cocktail hour?

hey im getting married there next month and a good friend of mine was married there so i went to her wedding this past year so i can answer some of these.

Whats the hospitality like when guest first arrive? people standing outside and inside front door greeting and directing guests- all VERY nice
Is there food and drink in your bridal suite? yes
Do they provide bathroom baskets? i dont htink so
Did you get to taste the cake before you picked it? you can at one of the showcases or request to right from the bakery
Did you run into another bride on your big day? you gotta check and see what is booked for that day
Did they pack up food for you and your FH , like leftover from cocktail hour, extra cake, etc.? yes - entrees-but you should request what youd like otherwise they will pick
If your ceremony was not outside, did you still get enough photo usage of the gardens? check with them for availability- usually not a problem i believe
Do they provide any decorations for cocktail hour?

with all different foods and drinks

Did you get to taste the cake before you picked it?no, i went with an outside vendor for the cake because i heard mixed reviews about WM cakes
Did you run into another bride on your big day? No
Did they pack up food for you and your FH , like leftover from cocktail hour, extra cake, etc.? They packed up my cake, but no food. I never asked them to so maybe that's why

Do they provide any decorations for cocktail hour? yes, they provided little table cp's

Whats the hospitality like when guest first arrive? Staff was very welcoming. When we arrive our bridal attendant and maitre d were waiting for us in the drive way they helped us out of the car and got us champagne right away.
Is there food and drink in your bridal suite? There were two huge plate of CH food waiting for us in our bridal suite. They also set up food out side for our bridal party and immediate family in the garden near where we were taking pictures.
Do they provide bathroom baskets? Don't remember
Did you get to taste the cake before you picked it? We did not get to taste the cake but now they have the bakery participate in the showcase and you get to taste the cake. Our cake was great the day of the wedding.
Did you run into another bride on your big day? No, I did not even see anyone from the other party.
Did they pack up food for you and your FH , like leftover from cocktail hour, extra cake, etc.? They packed up cake for us and the dinners from our guests that did not show (we had 6)
If your ceremony was not outside, did you still get enough photo usage of the gardens? Our cocktail hour was in the garden we took pictures in the garden for about an hour and a half.
Do they provide any decorations for cocktail hour? They provided decorations for the CH.

I think they will take good care of you @ WM ...

Future WM Bride.

My BM (felicia) did tell me that hospitality will include coffe, tea and I beleive cheese and crackers for any guest that comes early. They will also be catered to by the attendants.

They are suppose to pack up any dinners of guests that done show up but i would make sure you ask for them in your last meeting before your wedding and on the day of.

they do not do a formal tasting at WM. You can taste the cake options at the showcase ( next one 3/35 I beleive). Otherwise you can make an appt at the bakery they use and do a tasting there.

i dont beleive they have bathroom baskets

There should be all of the foods from the CH in your suite for you and your bridal party. There will be a varity of things so if you only want certain things you should let your BM know in your final meaning.

I've been told you should never run into another bride. They schedule there weddings and cocktail hour where when you are having your cocktail hour the other bride is having her ceremony and when you are having your sit down dinner and party she is having her cocktail hour then your wedding will let out when she is having her sit down dinner and party.

Is there food and drink in your bridal suite? in the guys bridal suite there was tons. we got there late so i dont know what was in the bride's suite.

Do they provide bathroom baskets? no we did our own.

Did you get to taste the cake before you picked it? not sure

Did you run into another bride on your big day? yes they did run into each other, and the guests from the other party kept coming into our outdoor area. no big deal.

Did they pack up food for you and your FH , like leftover from cocktail hour, extra cake, etc.? i imagine they got the cake, but i dont know.

Do they provide any decorations for cocktail hour? i dont think so- except for making the food trays look fancy. i dont think you need decorations.

ETA: ask about how many bartenders there are during cocktail hour- we only had one and there was a constant line. also during dinner, the bar was outside the room- also no biggie but some might prefer it inside.
