PAST WESTBURY MANOR GARDEN ROOM BRIDES

I kow this has come upm before but i really need to know from experience how many that room can hold comfortably. My list is adding up quick but i think i can cut it to 160 which i still feel is too much ...

Any opinions?

160 in the Garden Room????????????? No way!!!!!!!!! 120 MAX!!!!!!!!!!

ETA: Just speaking from experience...I went to a wedding there (a fellow LIW bride) and I think they had about 110 guests and it was perfect! Also I wouldnt sit more than 10-11 people per table...

We are using the same room and we invited 160....they banquet mnager we talked to said that you don't want to go more than 150....we're doing the No Dance right now as we wait for RSVPs

When we mentioned to our BM that we were thinking of 150 guests, he steered us to the Manor Room b/c the Garden Room would've been too tight. 160 guests is definitely too many for that room!

160 is WAY TOO MUCH!

They will even tell you 150 fits, but it does NOT fit comfortably.

I would recommend 120 max.

I would not go over 12 per table - 10 tables, with 14 person table tops.

I had about 130 in this room. I felt it was a little tight. It was hard for the wait staff to get to the far side of the table when everyone was seated at some of the larger tables. That was the only comment (I asked friends after the wedding if they had enough room).

You definitely cannot fit 160 in this room. 154 is your maximum (11 tables X 14 people per table).

Thanks so much for the insight. Sadly enought thoigh i have to invite 165 ppl and PRAY alot dont show up I honestly didnt think for a second Id have so many ppl

I hear you....I am freaking out over this!!! I am PRAYING for No's!!!! I'm jsut upset that when we originally booked the room we were told 175 was max on it, now we're being told 150 is max on it, and you ladies are saying 120! We had to guarantee 120 to get the room when we booked it!

THANK YOU!!! I said the same thing!!!! In fact I just called there to see if by some slight chance in h*ll, the Manor Room was available that night. Of course its not but i asked them what they think i should do. They said cut more ppl....HELLO, not that simple since i already cut so many....the BM i spoke to said 140 would fit comfortably

I WONDER who's wedding this was LOL

I had 9 tables ranging from 10 to 14 guests...with just over 100 people...there is NO WAY 160 guests would fit there..

but I will say we invited just about 170, and had just OVER 100 show, so if 160 is your invite list, you won't have that many.

eta: I really loved the WM, but I do think they use the word 'comfortably' very liberally...

I had 125 and I thought it was a little tight. I stressd for about 2 months before my wedding over this cause we invited 150. Thankfully we had some no's. When we booked the garden room they told us it would fit 160.....the things they say to get you to book.
