So the sunday that just passed we got a phone call from Fhs Uncle who goes to the church where we will be getting married. And it turns out that our Pastor is resigning (QUITTING) one month from our wedding ...ive emailed him sunday night and i have got no response back as to if hes still marrying us.,..im freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so we got an email from the pastor

Hi L
I have Aug 2 available for us to meet. That's a Saturday and we'll meet at 10:00 am @ my place.
This will be the last session we will have before the wedding.
Please bring a copy of your Order of Service and your plans for the rehearsal.
At this meeting we will be going over the entire ceremony and any detail that needs attention.
And yes, I will still do your wedding!!!! Don you worry.

dont flip out...this happened to us also...and I did for no reason ( although I didnt know that at the time).

You can ask the pastor if he would mind coming to do your ceremony...I heard that most times they will do that.
