Patchogue question

One of my friends is going through a rough time with her man. He has a major drug problem and he gets violent. She disappeared for awhile with him and just surfaced yesterday. They were living at La Bon VIe and now he moved her to some building off of Main Street ( 5 stories with elevator) where she is afraid when he's out at night. SHe is too afraid of him to tell anyone where she is sooooooooooo

I guess my question is
1...does anyone know where this building is? and if so is it in a 'bad' part of town?

There are two buildings that fit that description. One is on the corner of Main St and Maple Avenue and is directly across the street from the Post Office. It's not a bad area of town, it's more in the area of retail stores. The other is right off Main St. on the corner of Rider Avenue and Terry St. It is directly across the street from St. Paul's Episcopal Church. It is not a bad area, there are some residential houses in the area and some businesses.

I have been in both buildings in the past and they were nice, but bear in mind that was about 9 years ago and I don't know what they are like now. The one on Rider Avenue seems to be a bit better taken care of.
