HI! I am really interested in Patken. I was wondering if the pricing they offered me was 'average' for them. I read some brides saying that they 'throw ' in some stuff..... What they offered was... 1 20x20 1 11X11 2 8x8 1 8x8 engagement portrait 150 thank yous ( normal) 10 x 10 album no parent albums basic video $5300 plus tax... is that a good price for them? patken brides help!!! please!!!

i just met with them today and they quoted me 3950 including a discount fot being a jericho terrace bride....im getting all that but 100 thank yous and 3 8x8....wonder why yours is a little more? Maybe the etxtra thank yous....Who did u meet with? I met with John he is great. Still not sure if this is a good price...

This is my breakdown: 1 20 x 20 1 11x11 2 8 x 8 1 8 x 8 engagement 50 Thank You All proofs in album 10 x 10 Jorgensen Album (24 images plus a coupon added in for 8 additiona images for a total of 32 images)

The only thing i am going to ask for extra is how much for pics on disk - master copies of video - how much extra for the foldover tu compaired to the wallets and i know when i sit down and do the album i will add extra pics.
I wonder why such a diff. too

OK Im having the same problem here. I got quoted $6100.00 for photography and a video. But Mine includes 75 thank yous, 11 X 11, 3 parent albums, our album, all proofs, 2 8X8's. The video is 3 parent copies, ours, and an unedited one. MY FH said to me theres no way hes paying that much for pictures and a video. So now we are on the hunt for cheaper......Is that too much that I got quoted?

well i think that the parent albums are $275 each so that makes your total higher

Magazine style would be more expensive because its labor intensive. Its in the more graphic design style where pictures are layered and they have more effects, colorization, etc. I am sure thats why it was more expensive.
Parent albums really kick up the price big time also. Make sure both sets of parents really want them first before getting them. It really was a waste for my brothers wedding. My parents said they like to have just a few pics and the album just takes up dust. I asked them and they said don't bother so it saved us $$$$.

I put my contract in the mail this morning:
Im gettin the basics like you but 1 parent album, 70 tank yous and no video for $2675 (plus tax).

the price doesnt sound that bad. i am getting all what you are plus instead of parent albums i am getting parent folios and 4 dvds ( parents are divorced and ours). THey do awesome work.. and they will work with you on the price you just have to mention to them if you are unhappy about something they will change it.

The engagement pics are included. From what I made of it, they do the E- photos to see how you photograph and work with the photographer. I wouldnt pass on the e-pics....

Holy I got quoted at so much more...but that includes video (basic) and magazine album
Im a bit upset right now. Ill call Tina today and see what she can do.
