I have heard very good things about Steve - I used Vinnie for photo and he did an AMAZING job - BUT for non-traditional photos I heard Doug is the best...
i would suggest making an appointment with steve and looking through his portfolio to get a feel of what type of photos he's really good at taking. and if you feel like he's not the right guy for you, you'll have time to switch and meet with someone else. that's what i plan to do anyway.
I am using Patken as well. Doug from what I heard is the best (he's the owner), but he charges I an additional $2000 for him to personally shoot. Steve did my engagement photos and I loved them. He was GREAT and he was quick too!!! I wanted him for my wedding but he'll be out of town that weekend so we are going with Nick. For video, def go with Kevin. He's a friend of my FH and does great work. Good Luck!
