I know there are a bunch of us using Patken and I ready today that a some are spending in the $3000 range. I was wondering what kind of package you are getting with that?

I would have to check at home what I am exactly getting. What do you think you are getting out of the ordinary? Number of parents' albums? Number of proofs in albums? FM me if you want I can look up the details when I get home

I am paying $4000- and I looked at my contract the other day, and honestly I really don't think I am getting a lot. I am little upset about this. Our album will only have 30 pics!!! 1 parent album 2 videos 1-20x20 1-11x11 2-8x8 1 8x10 engagement pic and 90 Thank Yous and minof 275 proofs in an album
Don't get me wrong I am very excited about our decision, I loved their work, but I do feel that I should have gotten more. Ladies are your packages similar to this???????????

I went to Patken this weekend. Im looking for a basic photo pkg, and I thought my quote was high. Im wondering how they come up with it. Im not saying its shady by any means, so many girls are thrilled with them. When I get home tonight, I will post the package I requested and the price.

does your 4600 include video?
that 4000 for video and photo sounds great to me! I know I am paying more than 4000 for photo and video! and remember, most other equal photographers started at 3000-3500 or so and that was for the bare min, at least in our experience.

I am not a Patken bride....but if the 4600 includes your video and your are getting your album, a parents album and enlargements I think that is a great price and actually a little on the inexpensive side. I would have been thrilled with that : ).

I think those prices sound awesome, because you are getting videos included, my package is 2400 but thats just for pictures, my video is with Wild Rose, so yoru quotes seem very reasonable!!!!

OK I went with the SoHo so that raised the price a little but I still think it seems high for NO video. I am going to go in and talk to them the next time I am in NY.
I am getting
1 soho (60 pics) 2 parent albums (12 5x7 each) then the same enlargements as everyone else 8x8 engagement 100 thank yous and they threw in for free 3 min soho's because we booked on the spot.
It just seems like I am paying alot more than others quotes.
