Patken Brides - I was assigned my photographer

i took my e-pics about 2 weeks ago so i called today and they assigned me Jessie.

anyone using or already used her?
any opinions or samples of her work?

I saw her work and she did e-pics for an 08er. She is amazing!!!!

Im so confused ....you mean you take your e-pics with someone then THEY tell YOU who is going to be your photog?

What is the point of the e-pics then? I thought they are to see how your photg works and to get to know each other and how things will work the day of??

Also why do THEY pic your photog?? shouldnt you tell them who you want??

I didnt book with them but I did meet with them and as I recall, they use your e-pics to determine which photographer will fit you best based on your personality. Thats one thing I didn't like about them. I wanted to be able to pick who took my photos.

they choose your photographer because they speak with you to see what your style is and they give you a photographer who will suit your style best.
their standard e-pics are a few pics in their studio and they give you 1 pic to take home (unless otherwise discussed in your contract). their e-pic session is more for them than it is for you.

you wouldnt want a photog who doesnt shoot the style you want right?

we're actually doing an off site e-pic shoot as well so we will take jesse on our off site shoot to get to know her better. we had nick for our first in studio e-pics

I also have Jessie... I met with her once and shes really nice!! I havent done my e-pics yet so personally, I dont know how the pics will turn out, but I have looked through her work and it's amazing. Just look at the pics in the chrispar album!!! GORGEOUS PICS!!!

No but I think it should be your decision who your photog is....I mean if your spending so much money in my opinion I want to be the one who calls the shots (no pun intended ) JMO

you can change the photog if you wanted to. my MOH was assigned nick and she changed it to vinny so its not like its set in stone.
