For any of the brides that has done their engagement shoots already....... Did you only do one photoshoot? I made my appointment for my photoshoot & they said to call two weeks after our shoot is done to see who they recommend & then if we want we could do a shoot with that photographer. Anybody did two shoots or were you satisfied with the first photoshoot

We did ours about 2 weeks ago and loved the way the pictures came out. They're going to call me when our prints are finished and then they'll let us know who our photog is. They didn't say anything that day about coming back a second time but I think I remember them saying when we booked that we go back a second time with our actual photographer and have a session with them as well.

I just did our photo shoot last week and after talkin to many people everyone told us to go with steve cause he was the best so we used him for our photo shoot and even though we havent seen the pics we loved hiM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if i were you i wud request him!

we just did our first session a few weeks ago with doug (the owner) and got assigned to nick whom im meeting tomorrow..
well do our next round with him in the spring

this was the impression i got... you take an in studio shoot and they match you with a photog if you doint strongly request one. then you can come in again and do another in studio photo shoot so you can see what its like to work with your assigned photographer.
we took an instudio one and then paid extra to do an off site one. we took our assigned photographer to our off site shoot

We did our FIRST in-studio shoot with Jessie. I already knew she was 100 different kinds of awesome.
When we requested her, she said: 'You can come back here and do as many in-studio shoots as you like, whether or not I'm the photographer assigned to your wedding.'
We got word last week that she'll be shooting our wedding, and she requested we come in and talk to her about it, when things chill out a bit here, we'll be making another appointment.

Ladies Thank you so much!! This info was helpful. So I'm assuming they don't charge for the second shoot but, I'm wondering .....how many pics do you get from these shoots? They are doing my save the date magnets but, I can't remember if Nadeara said we also get photos from the second shool.

i know we get one blow up from the second shoot-8x10 in our contract, but im assuming if you want the cd you have to pay for it again..last time was fine because we got around 35 pics, but ill prob only pay for it if we get around the same again next time

in our contract we were only given one printed 8x8 but thats because i wanted m yoff site on cd. they ended up giving me the pics from our in studio shoot on that disc anyway.
i knwo some girls have written in their contract to get all their pics...i would imagine its like 10-25 pics.
*usually* the in studio one is close up head shots, just an fyi
