Do not worry!!!

FH and I had the best time. Dress the way you want. That is what we did.

Who is your photograhper?

They take alot of different shots and you pick one.

It is a chance for them to get to know your style.

We told them off the bat, we wanted contemporary - photojournalistic.

I took them with STeve last Tuesday. It doesn't matter what you wear (we were in Lindenhurst) I was nervous too but it was like 5 minutes and you barely see what you are wearing. They do it digitally now so you have to look at them on the computer and choose 1 photo that they make an 8x10. You don't get the proofs anymore.

Where are you taking them?? and with whom?

I've never met Vinny but heard he was nice. They take you across the street and click away. It's quick and painless.

They'll be fine. We went on a day that was 96 degrees and humid as he!! but they came out fine. We ended up choosing a B/W photo. It was cute. He layed on the floor and I layed on top of him (on his back of course)

if you take them at the Lindenhurst studio, can you go outside or do you have to pay extra to have them taken outside?? thanks!!!

OK, now I have a question....

I booked Patken also and am planning on doing the eng. session soon.

They only give you one picture?? What if you wanted several pics in different poses?

They only do it in one place? Across the street? What's across the street?

Re: patken eng. photos...

Yes you go outside and no it's not extra. They take you across the street by Meineke (I think) it looks TERRIBLE but the pictures actually come out nice. It's better than being inside. I wish I could scan mine but I have no scanner here and it's an 8x10 so it may be too big.

They give you 1 8x10 of course you can buy more (and digitally it wasn't TOO expensive) we chose not to buy any more b/c the wedding is next month and we will have PLENTY then:)

Re: patken eng. photos...

We took our engagement photos with Vinny the first week in July. We LOVED them!!! The pictures came out great and it took no time at all to take them. We had a 1:00 appointment and we were out of there, with our pictures, by 1:45. We liked our pictures so much, we ordered extra. Vinny was very sweet. Good luck and don't worry, it will be great!
