I all ready forgot who shot us yesterday. Very friendly guy he had a gotee and helped us not be soo uptight which we are very famous for doing in pictures. We were told that we would find out our photographer in two weeks. I also upgraded our thank you's to fold overs and changed the video package to get the raw footage.
Giving that Tom and I are far from model perfect we were very happy. We were posed and didn't do any or our own positions just what the photographer told us which was fine. We were not into the whole sexy pics things so in the proofs we are laughing and it ruined the picture. I have uploaded all the good shoots in my album for those who are interested. I have also changed my avatar to the most popular picture that our our friends picked out.
So far I have five save the date's configured and we will be picking one out this weekend. Did all the layout work today during lunch and I am also laying out a card and enclosure of hotel info with the save the dates. I will upload pics once everything is finalized.
Thanks

Veyr pretty pix! Did u have Vinnie? He has alittle mustache, and alittle chunky, but very sweet and relaxed? By the pix, those are vinnies, those are what I had for my e-pix, i think u had vinnie! He's awesome! Steve is really great to, from what I've seen. If I were you, I'd call Patken and request either or....Dont let them just pick it for you! You have to know the guy and feel comfortable. Also, usually when u take e-pix, its also about getting to know ur photographer on ur wedding day and knowing how it works and the pix he takes. . .

I do think it was Vinnie. He said his name and tom and i were all freaked out about taking pictures that it really slipped our minds. He did make us calm. So I guess I should call them then to request someone. Thank you!

yes, i think it was vinnie, just by seeing the pix! he is AWESOME! you'll love him! i'm a little on the nuts side, so vinnie saw me be like a lunatic 2 weeks be4 my wedding like 'omg, what if it rains!!!!! omg!' lol and then after the wedding i was annoying him when i'd get my proofs and portraits, so i was nuts. imagine the most calmest day was my wedding day [in my whole life!] vinnie is just so calm and makes u feel so natural! he does amazing photos! look on my liw website to get an idea. those arent all the proofs, not even half of them! the 1 thing i suggest, like with all brides, if u have must takes- tell him prior to the wedding.

Now how come you got to pick your photographer all ready? I guess you just said i want him and thats that.. I should of done that but I was so freaked out over the photoshoot.
I emailed them last night ref. the engagement shoot and requesting to be with Vinny. Since I am pretty sure and FH is sure that was who took our pics.
Thanks again!

My cousin is a photographer and she said when booking a photographer make sure that you meet with the one who will actually be shooting your day. That way you feel comfortable with them and your personalities don't clash! I requested that before we booked. I actually wanted Vinny and he was already booked the day of my wedding...so they gave me Steve and I am so happy about it! Steve's awesome.
