i have seen Patken work and love our photographer, Vinny. anyone using/used them, and have any concerns about only one photographer/video guy. maybe an assistant with the photographer??? my MOH keeps telling me that they are wonderful, but that they are going to miss alot b/c they can't be in 100 different places at once. she also says that for a wedding that big they may miss alot, about 230-250 attending....should i be concerned?????
I have the same exact concerns as you! I love Patken, but everyone keeps telling me that I should have 2 photographers.
I posted a similar post regarding Patken a few weeks back and all of the Patken girls assured me that one photographer would suffice and that they all love Patken, however I understand your feelings.
I am still looking at photographers, so keep me posted on your decision!

Re: patken girls
John is my photographer. I went for my make-up trial the other day and the makeup artist told me the same thing. SHe got married in Feb and they missed a lot of pictures that she would have liked to have. Im going in with a checklist and making sure all of them get done.... We spent all of this money

I am using them & do not have any concerns about that. If you tell them exactly what you want, you'd be fine.....

Re: patken girls
You will be fine! Do you want shots of you and your new husband or your 250 guests?
Leave the candids to the table cameras and the beautiful memories, professional posed gorgeous pics to PATKEN!
I used Patken, I they didn't miss a thing! My video captures everything from my arriving, family arriving, cocktail hour to the things I missed. You will be fine with one photographer. As long as they catch the important parts, believe me, you dont' want alot a candids. Too many pics of wasted relatives gets real old quick!
