do any of you know their payment schedule? the contract says 1/3 retainer, 1/3 4 weeks before, 1/3 balance at proofs. but our total is $4182.06 and we only put $500 down.
(ok, I just threw up a little.. besides the RH this is our most expensive vendor, and we went over budget by like $3000)

i contacted them 2 weeks ago. they said they will contact me before the wedding. im not going out of my way to give them $> ia sked about payments and they just said 'yea we'll contact u' so.. i have noooo idea. ill GLADLY mail a check. but with 9 days left til the big day... i dont know whats going on.

i feel like they can be disorganized...ours worked out to be like 1/4 dp, 1/2 four weeks before, and 1/4 when we get our proofs

they told me that I just had to pay like a week before wedding with what was due. and I could pay what I wanted when I wanted if I wanted to make payments.

I'm emailing them also, because I still don't know WHO my photographer was, I've asked them to email me the info and they haven't!
If I don't hear back from them by tomorrow I'll go there after work and raise hell!

I have no idea. I haven't been in contact with them since I picked up my STD's which was within the last few months. I should call to see if they picked out my photographer at least. I have a serious case of out of sight, out of mind. I have to work on that.

it is a 1/3, 1/3 and the last 1/3 when you pick-up your proofs. THey will def get their last 1/3 when I pick up the proofs.

you will get a call from them when the payment is due!! they take payments over the phone too. you pay the balance when you pick up your proofs.

I did 1/3. 1/3. 1/3.
I called my Photographer the Monday before my wedding, and ironed everything out. I wanted to meet with her in person, but there was no time. They also gave me her e-mail address, but I didn't have to use it.
I spoke with the video dude that day, too.

we used to LOVE hing hing... but in the past few years they've gotten very bland, and they used to STUFF food into the containers, now you need to order a larger size... BUT.. the sushi place a block down is awesome!

I was wondering about the sushi place.
BTW I LOVE PATKEN!! Vinnie was our photog but John is awesome too. Lisa works in both offices and is an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm drawing a blank on the girl who took our last payment when we picked up our proofs. She was also extremely nice, not pushy and easy to work with.

yea, Teriyaki Express they're REALLY good and REALLY affordable... but my FAVORITE place is on DPA in north babylon- sushi express... omg, i can't eat fish so all i usually get from any place is a cucumber roll or avocado and asparagus--- they have the MOST AMAZING asparagus rolls.. EVER! and they have this mochi icecream... DELISH!
